- Use a personal code on a smart lock or alarm, so you can remove it later
- Keep a list of who has keys and codes
- Lock away valuables, documents and medications you don't want handled
- Agree on cameras openly; laws on recording vary by state, especially audio
When the arrangement ends
- Collect keys and remove codes the same day
- Change shared passwords (Wi-Fi, streaming) if needed
